The announcement of 14 Phere was made on 14 August 2020 by the lead cast and director. 14 Phere is an upcoming social comedy drama movie, where people from two different communities end up falling in love. They don’t want to hurt the sentiments of their parents and families so they set up a fake arrangement. Will the love birds succeed ? We can find out only after we watch the movie. But, coming to the story, whats new? The story seems to be a common one, so what twist or climax do we have here that makes the movie entertaining?

The trailer begins with two college students who fall in love and are living together for quite sometime. But when the time comes for marriage, its simply “abba nahi maanenge”. So Aditi and Sanjay(Kriti and Vikrant) end up hiring fake parents to get married. But will their complicated plan work out not so complicatedly? Cast of 14 Phere
The lead cast constitutes of Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda. And actors Gauhar Khan, Vinay Pathak, Yamini Das and Vineet Kumar will appear in prominent roles in the movie.

Vikrant Massey reveals that the movie is a simple hearted Indian drama movie that will touch the hearts of its audience. The film is highly relatable, emotional, comedy, drama and love, all mixed in one. While talking about her character, Kriti says that she feels the character Aditi has changed her in many ways. And Aditi’s personality has somewhat made place in Kriti’s real life as well.
Production and Shooting of 14 Phere
The announcement of the movie, 14 Phere took place on 14 August 2020. And the release date was revealed as 9 July 2021. But owing to a few postpones, the film will now have an OTT release on Zee5. 14 Phere was in schedule for a theatrical release, but owing to the COVID and other factors the makers decided against it. The shooting of the film started in November 2020, and was wrapped up by the end of January 2021.
After a Netflix release, Haseen Dilruba, Vikrant Massey is back with another release. Although this one is a romantic comedy, unlike Haseen Dilruba which is a romantic thriller. Its safe to say that Vikrant Massey has surely come a long way, from doing the lead in the Television Industry; to starring in supporting roles in Bollywood, and now playing the lead actor. Vikrant has also set his name highly in the OTT industry as well, where he has worked in several series. Series including Amazon Prime Original Mirzapur, Hotstar original Criminal Justice and many more.
