Madhuri Dixit

One of the most talented actors in Bollywood “The Dancing Queen”. She also became a part of this industry by chance. As per reports at the age of 15, a film producer approached Madhuri who was stunned seeing her dancing skills. But her parents strongly opposed this idea of taking part in such acting roles. She again came into notice by her sister’s friend and that’s how she entered into Bollywood with her debut.

Aamir Khan

Mr Perfectionist wanted to direct a movie but didn’t plan on becoming an Actor. However, destiny had different plans for Aamir who entertained the audience through his performance and became an overnight star with ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’.

Bipasha Basu

In 1996, Arjun Rampal’s former wife Meher Jesia met Bipasha at a hotel in Kolkata. After this brief meeting, Bipasha was suggested to try her hand at modeling. She agreed to it and eventually discovered this talent. Bipasha also tried for movies since then and even bagged home her first best debut awar for ‘Ajnabee’. She also quoted “I never wanted to become an actress. I was happily doing my modeling but I got bored of it. Acting came to me by chance. But yes, I’m thoroughly enjoying it right now and I don’t think I’ll get bored of it, but if I do, I’ll find something else to do.”

Raveena Tandon

The gorgeous actress in an interview said that, “To be honest, I never thought that I would do movies. I never thought growing up or looking in the mirror that I’d be an actress one day. It all just happened” as she considers her luck being at a prime point in her career since then. Winning a national award and also gaining love and popularity from the audience.

Johnny Walker

Johnny walker was a bus conductor before joining Hindi cinema. Since then he performed his best and winning a lot of hearts.

Rekha, Insipte of doing commercially successful movies from time to time acknowledged the fact that she never thought that acting was for her. In an interview she abides by the fact that, luck has been the most important factor that has contributed to her success. Parineeti Chopra’s academic background has been super impressive. She holds a triple hon. Degree in business, finance and economics. Director Manish Sharma discovered her while she was working at PR in Yash Raj Films. Since then, she landed her debut role. In ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’. The movie was well received by the audience and there was no stopping her. She also won the best debut actor for the film.

Sonakshi Sinha

21 Bollywood Stars: Sonakshi was interested in becoming a stylist and she even took part in a course related to Designing for a reputed University in Mumbai. She was also the costume designer for the movie ‘Mera Dil Leke Dekho’ in 2005. Sonakshi was also selected to work on the runway for the Lakme Fashion Week.  Jacqueline Fernandes

Saif Ali Khan

The famous Rajni Kanth worked as a coolie before joining the Bangalore transport service as a bus conductor. One fine day, film maker K. Balachandar discovered his talent and motivated him to pursue acting. Since then, there was no looking back for the actor.

Nana Patekar

Director Shekhar Kapoor while signing her for ‘Tara Rum Pum Pum’ Preety felt that if acting was destiny, she would flip the coin and if would be heads she would take the film as her career and if it was tails, she won’t. She says that she took acting so lightly in the initial days and was not very serious. She also said that she never had any determination to be an actor. Preity said that the burning passion for acting came when she was scolded on sets and from there she started developing her persona, focusing on acting and doing better each day.

Arjun Rampal

Arjun Rampal’s original plan wasn’t acting. Ace designer Rohit Bahal noticed Arjun at a party and asked him to pursue modelling as he had sharp features. Arjun then ventured into Bollywood and later he also won the Filmfare award for the best supporting actor for ‘Rock On’.

Siddhant Chaturvedi

Siddhant made the audience woo over his character as MC Sher in ‘Gully Boy’. Most of us didn’t know that luck discovered him. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar asked Siddhant to do an audition for the role in ‘Gully Boy’ and since then he is also signing up for exciting upcoming projects.
