Ajay Devgan, Actor- producer is joining hands with producer Sidhharth Roy Kapur for a comedy-drama film titled “Gobar”. Yes it’s confirmed and official!
Sabal Shekhawat will be the director of the film. It would be his first feature film also. The casting of the film is yet to be announced as it’s underway according to the sources. The filming shall start by the end of this year. The main question lies whether Ajay himself would be starring in the film or not. It would be great to see him adding light to this film also along with producing it.
According to sources, Ajay Devgan said, “That the story of Gobar is at once unique, relatable and incredibly funny, as well as gripping and entertaining to the point that I’m confident it will compel people to go to the theatres. We are very clear about the impact we want to make. We want viewers to laugh, relax, perhaps thinks a little bit and be entertained”.

Also adding to this official announcement, Siddharth Roy Kapur talked on his idea on Gobar. He adds that the story which chronicles the seemingly pointless but ultimately heroic journey of a simple citizen who deals with corruption in a way that will bring on huge laughs. Gobar would be much of an adventure which focuses on a simple message about the power of the common man.
What would really make this film unique and entertaining is the situational comedy that sheds light on the inner workings of power.
Ajay Devgan has his exciting projects coming up. This versatile actor is looking forward to the release of Maidan and RRR. He will be seen in a cameo appearance as Bajirao Singham in Sooryavanshi.
Ajay also has his upcoming Bhuj: The Pride of India, Thank God, Mayday along with Big-B. He recently also produced The Big Bull streaming on Disney+Hotstar which is receiving immense appreciation and love.
