Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli initiate a fundraiser for Covid-19 relief. The power couple has started this new agenda to aid India’s battle against the raging pandemic. The Celebrity couple has joined hands with the crowd-funding platform Ketto to start their fundraising campaign ‘In this together’ with an aim to raise Rs 7 crore to help India in these harsh times of the pandemic.

India is currently facing a huge tough time battling the second wave of Covid-19. People are coming forward to do their bit to tackle the crisis. The second wave has already infected a huge number of people leading. The numbers of Covid positive cases are rapidly growing on a daily basis.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli initiate a fundraiser for Covid-19 relief. The powerful duo has also contributed Rs 2 Crores for this initiative. Talking about the fundraiser, Anushka and Virat also express their grief over the crisis India has been facing amid the second wave of the pandemic.

Let’s have a look at this initiative campaign ‘In this together in association with Ketto. The campaign will run for seven days on Ketto. The implementation partner for the campaign is ACT Grants, which will also extensively work towards providing oxygen, medical manpower, vaccination, awareness, and telemedicine facilities all through the pandemic. ACT would also precede the amounts raised by Anushka and Virat while leading this initiative.

Taking to their social media handles, both Anushka and Virat introduced the campaign. Anushka wrote, “As our country battles the second wave of Covid-19, and our healthcare systems are facing extreme challenges, it breaks my hearts to see people suffering. So Virat and I have initiated a campaign #InThisTogether, with ketto to raise funds for Covid-19 relief.”
