They have become real-life superheroes who are assuring almost everyone’s safety and protection to the best of their ability.

The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected a huge number of people. The country is stuck in a huge medical emergency. Amidst all these situations, the Bollywood fraternity comes forward to help the nation fight the deadly wave of the virus.

From stars like Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood to Anushka Sharma, they are doing their bit to contribute to the Covid-19 relief in India. They are also trying their best in reaching out to those in need of assistance as the country faces an acute shortage of beds, medicines and oxygen supply.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli initiate a fundraiser for Covid-19 relief. The power couple has started this new agenda to aid India’s battle against the raging pandemic. The Celebrity couple has joined hands with the crowd-funding platform Ketto. They have also started their fundraising campaign ‘In this Together’. It aims to raise Rs 7 crore to help India in these harsh times of the pandemic. The powerful duo has also contributed Rs 2 Crores for this initiative.

Amitabh Bachchan

Big-B also directly got in touch with a Gurudwara in Delhi to provide Covid-19 relief. He also donated Rs 2 crores to it.

Hrithik Roshan

The hot actor collaborated with Jay Shetty and contributed approximately Rs 11.10 Lakh. His contribution also aims to help fight India against the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood, the Messiah is one of the real heroes working on the frontlines against the deadly virus. He is completely devoting himself to scouting for oxygen cylinders, plasma, beds and medicines for patients. Sonu is also making a note that everyone gets vaccinated too.

Bajraangi Bhaijan star, Salman Khan is donating Rs 1500 each to 25,000 workers in the film industry. It includes makeup artists, spot boys, and behind the scene crew. He was also seen distributing 5000 food packages and arranging meal kits for frontline workers in Mumbai.

Akshay Kumar

Bollywood biggie, Akshay Kumar also donated a total sum of Rs 1 crore. He contributed it to cricketer Gautam Gambhir’s Delhi based NGO  for helping those affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Priyanka Chopra also along with her husband Nick Jonas have generated nearly Rs 3.84 crore to contribute to the Covid-19 crisis. She is using her social media to help in this need of an hour providing essential medical supplies.

Ajay Devgan

Ajay Devgan partnered with Mumbai’s BMC to set up intensive care units for patients. He along with the other producers also helped to raise Rs 1 Crore. Ajay also helps BMC build a 20-bed emergency facility at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park.

Ayushmann Khurrana

Vicky Donor actor and his wife Tahira Kashyap Khurrana recently released a joint statement. They announced their contribution to the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
