Disha Patani has her roots from Uttar Pradesh. She made her acting debut with the Telugu film, ‘Loafer’opposite Varun Tej (2015). Disha made her Bollywood debut in the sports biopic, M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016). She neither has a godfather in Bollywood nor is she a star kid. She left everyone talking about her presence. Disha is just a few films old, but she has already won billions of hearts.


Disha admits that she had to struggle a lot to make it in the Bollywood industry, but it is absolutely fine with it. She said in an interview, “I had to survive and earn money. I didn’t take money from my parents. I used to audition everyday because I had to arrange my meal and pay the rent for my apartment.” The MS Dhoni star had to do tons of auditions for a living in Mumbai.


How did the actress make her own living? Disha strongly believes that being positive no matter what helps her to move forward. She shares her part of the story, “For a college girl to come to a new city not knowing anyone wasn’t easy. I was living alone and had come to Mumbai with Rs 500 and after a point, I didn’t have any money. I used to go for a lot of auditions which included TV commercials, as there was a constant pressure on me that if I don’t get a job this month, how will I pay my rent? Everything I did was for a job until I started to enjoy acting.”

The actor is proud of her success story, but stresses on the fact that the trying times have taught her to be “super careful” with her career choices. Coming to her choices of films, she also starred in the Chinese action comedy, Kung Fu Yoga (2017). The movie also ranks among the highest- grossing Chinese films of all time. She also went on to play lead roles in commercially successful movies like Baaghi 2(2018), Bharat (2019) and Malang (2020).

Disha Patani’s strong statement claims, “I think it’s a struggle in every profession; I don’t take Bollywood as the most struggling place. When I wanted to be an air force pilot, I had a difficult exam to crack. I feel its okay to struggle if we want to achieve something big.”
Her recent film, Radhe is receiving immense love and appreciation all over the world. She reunites with the Bajraangi Bhaijaan star, Salman Khan after their peppy number from ‘Slow Motion’ song.

Disha has her upcoming projects in the frontlines. She is the female lead in Ekta Kapoor’s production KTina. She is also shooting for Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns alongside Tara Sutaria, Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham.

Disha also speaks on her dream role. She says, “My dream role is Wonder Woman, I want to be a part of a film like Avengers DC, if we won’t make such films, I will go there and do it, and for that, I will have to work much harder.”
