One of the most awaited series is back with a bang! The Family Man is back with another season to keep you hooked and entertained. The first season got positive reviews from audience as well as critics, and it was successful in keeping the viewers on edge. With doses of thrill, suspense, and humour the series is a must watch. The story revolves around a man, Srikant Tiwari who is a normal middle-class man with a not-so common life. He works at TASC, which is a fictional organisation that includes special officers in-order to keep a check on terrorist activities and preventing them from happening. His life is between trying to protect the nation from terrorists; as well as protect his family from the impact of his secretive, high-pressure, and a low paying job.

What can we expect in Season 2 of The Family Man?
Okay! So the trailer is definitely giving us the vibes that this new season back with some epic drama, humour, action and new faces! Samantha Akkineni is seen in a never seen before avatar, she’s playing a pivotal role and can be seen as a vengeful person. The backdrop of this new season is set in Chennai. Furthermore, the trailer starts with Srikant and Suchitra in a couple therapy session, where Srikant is dumbstruck by the questions. As a result, his wife thinks that their marriage is a sham, and his kids can clearly see that something’s wrong between their parents. It seems Srikant has left his “old job” and is working at a “better place”, but he is definitely getting FOMO. With the classic duo of Raj and DK, we will definitely get a good watch. The new season airs on June 4 2021.

Furthermore, the team of The Family Man was able to rope in Samantha Akkineni, a popular and talented Tamil Actress. In fact, in an interview, DK and Raj, who are the director-duo of the Family man said that it was Samantha who convinced them for the role. And in fact we will get to see Samantha in a prominent role, and we might expect to see her doing action and stunts.
Review of the First season – The Family Man
And as usual, people loved the work of the director duo’s work yet again, Raj and DK. Also, they are a popular director-duo who work mainly on Hindi and Tamil language films and series. They write, direct, and as well as produce feature films and original series, under their banner D2R Films. After the screening of the Episode 1 and 2 of the Family Man, the viewers said that it was a typical Raj and DK product, with the doses of humour and plot-line. Also the end of the series will leave you hanging, leave you biting your nails to know what happens next, but sadly the series ends with you hanging for the result.
Although the teaser of the second season of the Family Man released in January 2021, and the series was supposed to release in February 2021. But due to some unknown reasons, the trailer release as well as the release of the series was postponed. Also only recently it was announced that the trailer launch will take place on 19 May 2021.
