Starring Kriti Sanon in the lead, Mimi is an upcoming new-age drama revolving around the concept of surrogacy. Pankaj Tripathi and Kriti Sanon once again reunite for the third time. They have starred together in Bareilly ki Barfi as father-daughter duo, and in the romantic comedy Luka Chupi. Furthermore, on 8th July Kriti took to her instagram to reveal the first look of Mimi. A shocked and pregnant woman(Kriti) with the caption “nothing like what you’re expecting”. Check out the first look reveal post here:

Mimi Delivery date? Aka Release date

Mimi will be delivered worldwide on 30th July 2021. Moreover as the trailer launch is taking place on 13th of July, we can expect the official announcement of the movie release then. Furthermore, reportedly Mimi will have an OTT release on Jio Cinema and Netflix simultaneously.

Plot of Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi

The story will revolve around the concept of practising surrogacy in India. A foreign couple want mimi to be the surrogate mother of their child. But for some reason, after Mimi is pregnant for a few months now, they decide against it and flee. Moreover, now what will an unmarried pregnant woman from a poor household do? Will she be able to explain her family what surrogacy is? To know the whole story, watch Mimi exclusively on Jio Cinema and also in Netflix, streaming from 30th July. The movie is centred to a comedy genre alongside normalising the concept of surrogacy in the country.

Furthermore, Mimi is the official Hindi remake of Marathi movie Mala Aai Vhhaychy. We will find out more when the trailer release takes place. Till then stay tuned with us.
