Born as Alia Advani to a Sindhi businessman and a teacher, she changed her name to Kiara Advani before her debut film. She changed it on Salman Khan’s suggestion that Alia Bhatt, under the same name, already acquired a position in the hearts of the audience. The name Kiara was inspired by Priyanka Chopra’s character in “Anjaana Anjaani”. Her family consists of a few relatives who belong to the B-town. A part of the film series “Bhool Bhulaiyaa”, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” isn’t the continuation of the first part. While the fans await the release of this film, Kiara took the social media by storm a day before yesterday by introducing her look in the film. She shared a motion picture in which she wears a petrified expression on her. Her character is introduced with the name “Reet”. The motion poster suggested a hint of horror as a scary hand slowly appears on her head. She uploaded the poster with the caption “Meet Reet. Don’t be fooled, She’s not so sweet. #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 releasing in cinemas on 20th May 2022!” This movie marks Advani’s second horror-comedy after Akshay Kumar starrer “Laxmii”. The cast also includes Kartik Aaryan and Tabu.
Jug Jugg Jeeyo
An upcoming comedy-drama film directed by Raj Mehta features Kiara Advani with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Prajakta Koli, Manish Paul and Varun Sood. The actors posted a look of this film on their social media handles. Though much hasn’t been revealed yet about this movie, pictures suggested Kiara and Varun’s wedding in the film. It can be assumed that Anil and Neetu play the parents’ role of Varun. Fans eagerly wait for the trailer. The movie releases on the 24th of June, 2022.

A Telugu drama by Shankar casts Ram Charan and Ranveer Singh with Kiara Advani. The film marks Kaira’s second collaboration with Ram Charan. They acted together in “Vinaya Vidheya Rama” in 2019. Anjali, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, and Naveen Chandra play supporting roles. The makers announced the film in February 2021. Kiara shared a poster of the film on her social media handles. They were all seen wearing suits. The makers kept the title tentatively because it marks the 15th film of Ram Charan as a lead actor. The movie also marks Shankar’s directorial debut in Telugu cinema.
Govinda Naam Mera
The movie based on the life of a man named Govinda features his story with his wife and a girlfriend. Kiara Advani comes back with Vicky Kaushal on-screen after “Lust Stories”. “Govinda Naam Mera” also features Bhumi Padnekar. The story remains like a few films in the past, the concept of Gharwali and Baharwali, a man with a wife, alongside a marital affair. Vicky plays the role of Govinda, Kiara as the naughty girlfriend and Bhumi as his hot wife. Bhumi played the same role in the past in the film “Pati Patni Aur Woh”. Vicky shared three individual pictures of the lead cast, introducing each of them. The movie releases on 10th June 2022.
Satyanarayan Ki Katha (Title dropped)
After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kiara wishes to come back on screen again with Kartik Aaryan. The movie, earlier titled “Satyanarayan Ki Katha” dropped the title due to objections by various religious groups with no announcement of a new title. Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Kishor Arora and Shareen Mantri Kedia, the film tells us the story of god Satyanarayan, another name for god Vishnu. Also, Kartik announces the film teaser with the caption ‘A story close to my heart’. It also read that it is a special film with special people.
Mr Lele
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film casts Kiara Advani with Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Padnekar and Vicky Kaushal. It seems she summed up the cast of her 2 upcoming launches. The story features a Marathi NRI who takes ecstasy at a nightclub and ends up in jail in 48 hours. The makers wrapped the film with an intimate party in September 2021. The pictures of Kiara and Vicky craving midnight snacks also went viral on social media. The film features a comedy story.
VD 12
South Indian fame, Vijay Devarakonda plans to feature in a film with Kiara Advani. The tentative title, just like RC15, marks the 12th film of Vijay as a lead. Shiva Nirvana directs the film. The shooting might begin sometime by the end of this year with a grand ceremony. Also, Vijay plans to work for the first time with a Bollywood actor. Reports suggested a rom-com movie starring Rajkummar Rao and Kiara Advani is on its way. Both of them were earlier spotted together at Maddock Film’s office. Rajkummar arrived on his bike and Kiara Advani came in her Mercedes car. Whether the film comes or not, a confirmation might arrive soon.
