Early Life and Career
Born on 1 May 1995 in a middle-class family to a businessman and a painter, she completed her schooling at Delhi Public School, New Delhi. She pursued her graduation, Bachelor’s of Commerce from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi, New Delhi.
Radhika made her TV debut with the serial “Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi” on Colors TV. She also participated in season 8 of a dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” in 2015. Madan made her feature film debut with “Pataakha”, a comedy-drama by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film also starred Sanya Malhotra. After this, Madan acted in another comedy drama “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota” by Vasan Bala. The movie premiered in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival and won The People’s Choice Award.
After her struggles, she finally received a lead role in the Homi Adajania’s film “Angrezi Medium”, a spiritual sequel to “Hindi Medium”. It also starred the late actor Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Irrfan Khan acted for the last time in this movie. Radhika perfectly played the role of a 17-year-old girl, who desperately wants to get out of an old town and shift to a foreign country to see the world. Shiddat: Journey Beyond Love
One of the best movies Radhika made in her career was Shiddat. The movie, directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar, released on the 1st of October, 2021. It released on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. This romantic drama film casts stars Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan in the lead roles, along with Mohit Raina and Diana Penty in the supporting roles.
Jaggi, a sports enthusiast falls in love with Kartika, a swimmer, during his college days. As their love story begins, Jaggi comes to know about Kartika’s engagement. But his passionate love and dedication let Kartika too fall for her. Kartika unwillingly sits on the wedding mandap to marry the person her parents decided. Meanwhile, Jaggi gets caught while crossing a border and he tries his best to reach the wedding place and stop it. But the tragic end to the movie breaks the hearts of many and brought tears to their eyes. In the end, it seems like Jaggi finally makes it to the wedding but that comes out as an illusion. While illegally crossing the border by holding on to the outer body of a plane, he dies in the middle of the journey.
The movie received 7.7 stars out of 10 on IMDb. The on-screen romance between Radhika and Sunny won everyone’s hearts. Sunny Kaushal, being Vicky Kaushal’s younger brother, carried on the legacy by graciously bringing out Jaggi’s role in the movie. The soundtrack of this movie consisted of some of the most popular songs in 2021. Songs, like Shiddat, Chitta and Jug Jug Jeeve still have not left the fan’s ears. Overall, the film served as a good romantic and humorous one. The film also gave recognition to the talented actor, Sunny in his first few lead roles.
Feels Like Ishq
The beautiful actress made her Netflix debut in the same year with this streaming television series. The series presents six stand-alone episodes directed by: Tahira Kashyap, Danish Aslam, Ruchir Arun, Jaydeep Sarkar, Sachin Kundalkar and Anand Tiwari. It casts a variety of stars, such as Rohit Saraf, Radhika Madan, Amol Parashar, Tanya Maniktala, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Neeraj Madhav and many others. These light-hearted episodes came up with sweet little love stories to cater to the teen audience in their 20s.
Radhika Madan and Amol Parashar feature together in an episode “Save the Da(y)te”. It features a story of a bridesmaid and a wedding planner. While searching for their runaway bride, a bridesmaid and a wedding planner with opposing takes on love and commitment fall for each other. It received a 6.1 rating out of 10 stars by IMDb. Homi Adajania’s SBC
Radhika and Homi collaborated for the second time after Angrezi Medium. They recently wrapped their shoot in Jaipur in March. The director announced the completion of their project on social media in a humorous manner. He shared an Instagram story with a picture “It’s a wrap (with an eating wrap picture)”. The title of the film is something called SBC, the full form of which is not known yet.
Kacchey Limbu
After playing the role of a swimmer, Madan appears as an underarm cricketer in her next film. Radhika indulged in hard training to ace the role. Radhika underwent cricket training to clearly understand the techniques and mannerisms involved in the game. The movie also features the talented actor Ayush Mehra, who is yet to earn a name in the Bollywood cinema.
Kuttey

The actress bagged one of the biggest opportunities of her life in working with the superstar, Akshay Kumar. The actor took to Instagram to share the filming of a remake of a South Indian film. He even asked his fans to suggest a suitable title for the movie.
Saas Bahu Aur Cocaine
Homi Adajania definitely seems to be stuck with Radhika Madan in his head. He announced a web series, featuring Dimple Kapadia and Radhika Madan in the lead roles. It focuses on the story of women working in the drug business.
THE BIG NEWS: SUNNY AND RADHIKA
According to the rumours, the actors who appeared on-screen in Shiddat successfully brought their romance to off-screen too. The passionate love story began on the set while shooting for Shiddat. Sunny even proposed to Radhika with a ring in an Instagram video by sitting on a knee. While promoting their film, Radhika got trolled for wearing an outfit. Sunny jumped in the middle by defending her and saying that she looked absolutely stunning in the outfit.
Sunny, impressed by Radhika’s look, further said “She was looking absolutely stunning, man. You remember you were getting into the lift to go down and I was inside the lift and I was like, ‘Whoa, wow!’ You know, Radhika has this beautiful trait – she is so self-assured about these things.
