Shanaya Kapoor, daughter to Bollywood actors, Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor shared her news on kickstarting her first Bollywood debut with Dharma. After giving a launchpad to many star kids under his Dharma Productions, like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter among others, Filmmaker Karan Johar has now also launched Shananya Kapoor to the DCA squad.

This news left everyone thrilled. While the kickstart shoot for her film will hit the floors in July this year, yet there is something interesting to know about the ‘name of the movie’. Is ‘Majnu’the name of Shanaya Kapoor’s film?
Well, the fashionista took to her Instagram story and shared a picture. Shanaya’s story had Majnu written on a page where she tagged Karan Johar, Shashank Khaitan and Apoorva Mehta in her post. With the sharing of this post, it seems that name of her Bollywood debut film is titled “Majnu”.
The official announcement is yet on hold.
Earlier too, Karan Johar welcomes Shanaya Kapoor to the squad by posting a beautiful video expressing his emotions, at the same time appreciating Shananya’s enthusiasm, perseverance and diligence.
Shanaya Kapoor also took to her social media handles to express her joy in making such a huge announcement of her first Bollywood Debut.
Shanaya would be seen romancing with the other two DCA(Dharma Cornerstone Agency) talents also launched by the Board. They are Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada. The three shall make the film a rom-com, much of an urban triangle love story. The filming shall begin from July, this year as already reported earlier.
As a kid, even though she is about to make her bollywood debut, she enjoys a huge following already. Shanaya Kapoor has worked as one of the assistants on Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl. She had earlier also made an appearance in the Netflix series, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
