Shravan Rathod passes away at 66 battling with COVID-19

Another heartbreaking news in Bollywood. Music composer Shravan Rathod passes away battling with COVID-19. Nadeem Saifi is heartbroken.

The current situation is keeping our loved ones away from us. Shravan-Nadeem, the famous duo of the 90s, is no more. As Shravan Rathod passes away at 66. Recently Director Anil Sharma tweeted showing his condolence, “V v sad .. just came to knw about the great music director #shravan he left all of us ..due to COVID .. very dear friend n colleague of mine .worked with him in #maharaja Always gave great melodies..my deepest condolences to his family. He will always remain in our hearts. RIP.”

Currently, Bollywood is at a high risk of transmitting infection. Many Bollywood stars are are in quarantine. The news comes just after a few days after he was admitted to the hospital for Corona. Reportedly his condition was critical and was deteriorating as time was passing by. Sadly, he passed away battling with the virus. His partner and friend Nadeem is left heartbroken. However, he could not accept the fact that his friend is no more. The artist passed away at 9:30 PM today. His family is admitted to another hospital in Andheri while he was admitted to Raheja hospital in Mahim, Mumbai. During the second wave of the pandemic, most of the celebs are off guard and causing a higher risk altogether. Although many artists are curing from the virus while many are unable to fight for more.

Shravan is no more.

The Bollywood duo Shravan-Nadeem was famous for their song Aashiqui in 1990. Not only Aashiqui but albums from Saajan, Pardes, and Raja Hindustani was among their notable works. The 66-year-old composer was in a critical state due to the comorbidities. The doctors left him in the ICU for observation. But ultimately, he could not fight more and took his last breath. Prominent artists show their condolence, “Veteran music composer #Shravan [of Nadeem-Shravan] passes away… Delivered memorable songs in the 1990s… Heartfelt condolences to the family… Om Shanti.” 

However, he will still be alive in the hearts of millions. His work is a piece of art. In fact, he gave the industry a notable series of songs and albums. However, may his soul rest in peace.
