Indian Celebrities always bring to us a new concept through their films and shows to keep us engaged. Motherhood is not a concept, but it is a feeling to be loved and experienced. Rakhi Sawant

This multi-talented person has worked in many films in the languages, such as Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil and Odia. She is a model, dancer, actress and television talk show host. She appeared in Bigg Boss Season 1 as a contestant and as a challenger and finalist in Season 14. Sawant soon entered into politics with her own political party, headed by Jai Shah, called the Rashtriya Aam Party, for the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. However, after the election, the actress joined another party, the Republican Party of India (A). Rakhi made her debut in Bollywood with the movie “Agnichakra”. Thereafter, she appeared in a few dance numbers in the films, such as Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, Joru Ka Ghulam and Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke.

She even appeared in a few reality shows, like Rakhi Ka Swayamwar, Nach Baliye, etc. Rakhi got engaged to a man from Toronto, Elesh Parujanwala, whom she met on her Swayamwar. The two parted ways soon due to irreconcilable differences and later Rakhi revealed that she chose her just because of money. Thereafter, Rakhi announced in 2018 that she would marry the celebrity, Deepak Kalal but later told the media that he has been already engaged to someone. In 2019, she married an NRI man named Ritesh but their marriage fell off in around 2022. 

In Bigg Boss Season 14, Sawant revealed that she froze her eggs because that’s the only way for her to get pregnant. She loves to become a mother and embrace the experience of motherhood. Rakhi further said that she needs a father for her child, not a Vicky Donor. She doesn’t wish to become a single mother. After facing betrayals a few times in her love life, she wishes to not rely on human beings for her child.

Ekta Kapoor

One of the most renowned film and Television show producer-director, Ekta Kapoor has become the talk of the town in every household because of her family’s Television shows. Her famous shows include Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Ye Hai Mohabbatein, etc. Born to legendary actors Jeetendra Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, she also has an actor sibling, Tusshar Kapoor. She decided to become a producer under the banner Balaji Telefilms. She became popular with her Hindi TV serials, after which she even entered other languages.

Ekta came to be known as “The Queen of Indian Television” with around 130 TV shows. She even started a media training school, The Institute of Creative Excellence, through her production house Balaji Telefilms in 2012. Her produced films include Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Veere Di Wedding, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Love Sex Aur Dhokha, etc. “Alt Balaji”, an Indian subscription-based video on demand platform was founded by her. For her work in the field of arts, she even received the Padma Shri award in 2020. Ekta appeared in a show, “Lock Upp” hosted by Kangana Ranaut. 

The 46-year old actress opened up about her frozen eggs in 2020. She chose to freeze her eggs at the age of 36. Ekta gave birth to a son ‘Ravie’ through surrogacy. Expressing her happiness, she told on social media about her journey of becoming a mother. Kapoor conveyed her struggle for seven years of getting pregnant through multiple cycles of IUI and IVF. After various unsuccessful attempts, she opted for surrogacy. She froze her eggs because she didn’t know if she would ever get married. Her brother too opted for raising a child through surrogacy and therefore, her parents became quite surprised by her decision. 

Tanishaa Mukerji

An Indian actress and sister of the superstar Kajol Devgn, Tanishaa made her debut in Bollywood with the film “Sssshhh…” in 2003. Born to Shomu Mukherjee and veteran Bollywood actress Tanuja, she rose to fame with the movie “Sarkar” acting alongside the Bachchan father-son duo, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan. She even played various roles in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Further, Tanishaa appeared in the reality show “Bigg Boss Season 7” in 2012. She became the first runner up in the show. In 2016, Tanishaa participated in the reality show “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7” and reached the final stage. Her movies include Neal ‘n’ Nikki, Unnale Unnale, Code Name Abdul, etc. 

The 44-year old actress froze her eggs at the age of 39. She said that she would consider having a child when she finds the right person for her. She further said, “Yes, I froze my eggs a few years ago, because at that time it felt right and my philosophy is that life is short. Life is too short to wait for something to happen to you and I do want to have children. But I think it’s very important for a child to have a father. There’s a reason why God has created the Yin and the Yang, a man and woman to come together to have a child. There is a whole science and spiritual explanation behind it. So if I find the right male, my right yang, then I’d love to have a child”.

She considered freezing her eggs at the age of 33 but her doctor convinced her to not choose the option at a young age. 

Mona Singh

An actress and television presenter by profession, Mona Singh became popular by hosting a few television shows. She hosted Comedy Nights Live and Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Born and brought up in a Sikh family, she began her Bollywood career with the movie “3 Idiots”, which was a blockbuster hit. She even won the Season 1 of the reality series “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”. Mona even appeared on TV with shows like Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, Kavach… Kaali Shaktiyon Se and Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do. Her movies include Amavas, Utt Pataang and Zed Plus. She is working on a film “Laal Singh Chaddha”, which is yet to be released. The 40-year old actress married Shyam Rajagopalan in 2019.

After almost a year of her marriage, she revealed that she froze her eggs at the age of 34. She said that she and her husband were in no hurry to have a child. Mona even shared, “I have frozen my eggs and now I am free. Because I have gotten married now, I want to chill with my partner and travel the world with him. I haven’t done that yet and I have always travelled with my family or friends. I want to do that with my husband now and it is a different feeling now — going for walks, getting all the attention, keeping Karwa Chauth vrat – all this is so nice. Even though I love kids, if you ask me now, I am not mentally prepared to have one. Later in life, I would definitely think about it”.

Mona took a break from her career after the procedure because she faced a lot of mood swings. She also shared that the process took around 5 months. She became one of those Bollywood Celebrities who saved her eggs andd her parents appreciated it and supported her in the decision. 

Diana Hayden

The Miss World 1997 crown holder and also an actress by profession, she became the first Miss World titleholder to win three subtitles in the competition. Born in Hyderabad, the actress had a tough childhood as her parents separated at a very young age. Therefore, she started working at the age of 13. Her journey of pageantry began with Miss Femina India, where she ended up in second place. After winning the crown of Miss World, she began getting various endorsements from brands, like Colgate, L’Oréal, etc. She even hosted Miss Europe twice. In 2008, she made her entry into the 2nd Season of Bigg Boss.

She wrote a book “A Beautiful Truth” on personality development and grooming. Hayden married Collin Dick, an American businessman who worked in India. She met him as a tenant to rent her apartment. Biplab Kumar Deb, the chief minister of Tripura made a controversial statement against the actress. He judged her on the basis of skin colour and even doubted her beauty for winning the Miss World title. He later apologized after facing a lot of criticism from social activists. She appeared in a few films, such as Tehzeeb, Ab… Bas!, and others.

She wanted to wait for Mr Right for having children. In 2016, she gave birth to a girl from an egg that Hayden had frozen 8 years earlier. In 2017, Hayden confirmed her pregnancy for the second time. She gave birth to twins, a girl and a boy in 2018.
