Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)

The trip leads them to heal wounds, combat their worst fears and fall in love with life. Meanwhile, Kabir falls in love with her swimming instructor Laila. Sadak 2 (2020)
The sequel to the successful film “Sadak” was launched on Disney+ Hotstar. It was a comeback for the director Mahesh Bhatt, who directed this film. The trailer of this movie became the most disliked video on Youtube. It is one of the lowest-rated films on IMDb with a rating of 1.1. One of the reasons for such a flop could be Nepotism that trended during that period because of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
The film showcases a story of a girl who is on a mission to expose a godman, who she believed was the cause of her mother’s death. Meanwhile, she meets Vishal. The movie also faced criticisms regarding hurting Hindu sentiments because of the use of Kailash Mansarovar in the poster. Irrespective of the negative comments it received, it surely brought us the most attractive trip locations. Starting from Ooty in Tamil Nadu to Mysore in Karnataka to Mount Kailash in Uttarakhand, the film covered them all.
A simple and sweet story of a daughter and father’s daily life story and fights over trivial issues. This daughter-father duo goes on a road trip with a driver to look after their ancestral home. They constantly fight over different viewpoints and ideologies in life because ageing caused her father to nag her over every issue. The film is based on the name of the daughter, Piku, who later develops a close friendship with the driver. In the end, the father faces a peaceful death.
The movie is a special trip down the sweet memories of the late actor Irrfan Khan. The film tells us to plan a trip with our family to fight and eventually solve those issues. Kolkata’s streets were quite visible in the whole film, along with scenes from Howrah Bridge, Bishop Lefroy Road and Shyambazar. The lyrics of “Journey Song” very well captured the whole essence of travelling.
Two different individuals, Ved and Tara, meet each other in Corsica with a promise to keep their real identities a secret. After hanging up for a while, Tara falls in love with Ved. After four years, Tara meets Ved while travelling for work and both disclose their real identities. As they fall in love, they realize they won’t be able to maintain their relationship and break up. Dil Dhadakne Do (2015)
On Neelam and Kamal’s 30th anniversary, they throw a party on a cruise and invite their friends and family. The family faces some dysfunctional truths while they travel on the cruise. This family drama entertains everyone as each issue roots up regarding the engagement, wedding and much more. Almost the whole film’s shooting took place on the cruise itself. Parts of Istanbul, Nevşehir and Antalya are featured in the film displaying beautiful mosques, ferries and valleys. The amazing locations used, tempt us to go on a cruise holiday and experience the fun.
Chennai Express (2013)
This romantic comedy film showcases the story of two unknown individuals meeting under very unusual circumstances and embarking on their journey. Rahul sets on a journey to Goa to immerse his late grandfather’s ashes in the sea. Meanwhile, he lends his hand to Meena, a South Indian woman, on the train with her father’s goons. Instead of Goa, he reaches Durgesh and Meena introduces him as her lover.
Due to this, they flee the village to escape Meena’s father and travel to many places together in India. Rahul faces Meena’s fiancée in a fight at the end of the film. In the fight, Rahul injures himself but gains the victory. Various places in South India were seen in the film, for instance, Kerala, Munnar, Dudhsagar Falls, Devikulam Lake and others. Locations of Jakarta are also featured in the movie. Even the fun song, “Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari” showcases their travelling journey.
An engaged girl, Rani gets traumatized when her fiance breaks up with her and calls off the wedding. She decides to go on her honeymoon alone to Paris and Amsterdam, where she discovers herself and makes a fresh start. The film focuses on supporting feminism and women’s power by encouraging Rani to gain independence and live on her own. Unlike other women crying over their broken marriages or engagements, she gathered the courage to discover herself and explore the world.
