Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)
Three friends, Kabir, Arjun, and Imran decide to go on a bachelor trip before Kabir’s marriage to Natasha. They had a long-standing pact: Each one of them chose an adventure sport without telling each other and all of them were supposed to participate in each sport. The trip leads them to heal wounds, combat their worst fears and fall in love with life. Meanwhile, Kabir falls in love with her swimming instructor Laila. Dil Chahta Hai (2001)
One of the best movies based on friendship and travel wherein three best friends separate after completing their college education because of their different approaches towards relationships. All of them reunite on a Goa trip and the story ends with all the three friends and their wives sitting together. Jab We Met (2007)
The movie begins with a depressed businessman, Aditya who lost his father and parted ways with his girlfriend, meets a girl, Geet on the train. Geet seems happy and carefree, opposite to Aditya’s character. Geet follows Aditya and they eventually land in Bhatinda, the girl’s hometown. She decides to elope with Aditya to relocate to Manali, where her boyfriend, Anshuman resides. Geet and Aditya part ways only to meet after a few months. Aditya discovers that Geet was not in a happy relationship with Anshuman. Meanwhile, Geet and Aditya fall for each other. The film ends with the protagonists reuniting and falling in love with each other. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan play lead roles in the movie.
3 Idiots (2009)
One of the most loved films of all time involves everything from humour to romance to comedy to friendship and whatnot. Three college friends who enter their engineering college phase make the most out of their lives by finding unique solutions to each and every problem. After a few years, two out of those three friends reunite to find their long lost friend and meanwhile, they even convince and help his girlfriend to flee from her own marriage. At last, all of them reunite and end on a smiling note. Aamir Khan plays the titular role.
Dear Zindagi (2016)
Kaira, after facing a lot of ups and downs in her career and relationships, contacts a psychologist Dr Jehangir Khan for her insomnia problem. She led a positive and happy life after discussing her problems with Mr Khan and confessing her love for him. Still, he denies this because of the relationship between a patient and therapist and ends the story on a happy note. An uneducated caterer and housewife feel separated from her daughter and husband due to her inability to speak English. While on a visit to Manhattan to meet her sister, she decides to join an English learning course. She discovers herself over there. Her classmates teach her to value herself beyond the narrow perspective of her family members. The movie serves as a treat in the eyes of the legendary actress Sridevi’s fans. The film was one of the last films of Sridevi.
A simple and sweet story of a daughter and father’s daily life story and fights over trivial issues. This daughter-father duo goes on a road trip with a driver to look after their ancestral home. They constantly fight over different viewpoints and ideologies in life because ageing caused her father to nag her over every issue. The film is based on the name of the daughter, Piku, who later develops a close friendship with the driver. In the end, the father faces a peaceful death. On Neelam and Kamal’s 30th anniversary, they throw a party on a cruise and invite their friends and family. The family faces some dysfunctional truths while they travel on the cruise. Qareeb Qareeb Single (2017)

Munna Bhai M.B.B.S (2003)
Munna, a gangster, cons his village-based parents into believing that he became a doctor because of his father’s wish. Golmaal Fun Unlimited (2006)
A fun-loving story of four friends Gopal, Madhav, Lucky and Laxman, who often dupe gullible people out of their money. Vicky Donor (2012)

Do Dooni Chaar (2010)
A math teacher by profession, Santosh Duggal lives in a small apartment along with his wife, Kusum and two children. After hearing constant taunts for not being able to afford a car, he decides to buy one. It is this decision that will force his daughter to seek employment in a call center. His son also confesses that he performs gambling, which leaves Santosh with no alternative but to consider accepting bribes from his students. Three friends and roommates Nishant, Rajat and Vikrant start dating three girls. Their relationship went very smoothly for some time. There he meets Riana, a hairstylist who recently broke up with her boyfriend. Riana and Rahul start bonding and paint the town red on Christmas Eve. The following day, they discover that during their drunken spree the night before, they tied themselves into a marital bond. They decide to annul the marriage, but Riana’s inability to pay her rent leads her landlord to evict her, she lands at Rahul’s place. The friendship grows between them over the course of the next few days and a trip to India. Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan play lead roles in the movie.
