The childhood sweethearts, Varun and Natasha recently got married, and it was nothing less than a fairy tale coming true! A sober wedding in shades of pastels in Alibaug’s luxurious resort The Mansion House, Maharashtra. The couple adorned in pink, white and golden hues looked stunning. Close friends and family coming together to celebrate this beautiful union of two souls, two families and two lives. They first met in their sixth grade in school, as Varun told in an interview. They had been friends before, and started dating only around their mid-20s. Natasha, while talking about her relationship with Varun said that they started dating when she was moving away. And that’s when they realised that they were more than good friends. Rumours regarding their marriage has been making rounds since 2019, but Varun eventually denied them. He said that as he was doing a few films and was busy with projects, they wouldn’t get married so soon.
Why did Varun deny his relationship with Natasha?
There were a number of occasions when both of them had denied their relationship and any rumour making rounds. And by the end of 2018, rumours regarding their engagement had started making rounds. Natasha has always been there, and is considered family even before they started dating. They knew each others parents since school time itself, and have always been comfortable around each other. David Dhawan, father of Varun Dhawan also says that he is happy for the young couple, and wishes them a happy life ahead.
Natasha Dalal belongs for a rich Business Family, and she herself is a fashion designer. She is a fashion designing graduate from New York. Varun when asked what made him fall in love with her, he replied, her independence, individuality and her opinionated voice. She is a strong woman and wants to achieve everything on her own. Varun also said “She’s my rock, she’s my anchor. She’s the stabilising factor in my life. It’s pretty much like family.”

The beautiful journey they have embarked together is indeed insightful. After their marriage, Varun asked the reporters to calmly take photos and ask questions. He also said “Darr jayegi bechari” to the reporters humorously. Their relationship is so sweet, and the way Varun is protective about her, just sets new couple goals in towns. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only 50 guests, including Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Zoa Morani, Kunal Kohli and Shashank Khaitan, designer Manish Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez were present. After the pre-wedding shenanigans, wedding took place on 24th of January, 2021. Bollywood stars from the industry took to social media to share their heartwarming wishes and blessings for the new couple. The couple wore a matching regal off-white outfit for their special day. They also posed for the media after the wedding, for the paparazzi, and fans.
For their Honeymoon, the newlyweds flew off to Istanbul, Turkey, in the massive and magnificent Ciragan Palace Kempinski. It is a beautiful palace, overlooking the serene waters of the Bosphorus. Although initially the wedding was planned to take place in 2020, but with the rise of COVID pandemic, the dates were postponed.
