Good news for all Yash fans – after KGF chapter 2 , Its YASH 19 announcement soon…
KGF Chapter 1, or popularly known as KGF turned out to be a huge blockbuster; marking the name of Kannada superstar Yash nationwide. The movie is set in the backdrop of the “Gold Rush in India” time. KGF Chapter 1 was scheduled to release on 16 November 2018, but the release was postponed to 21 December 2018. The film broke all records of Kannada Movie industry with its release, and became an all time highest grossing Kannada film. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of KGF Chapter 2 since the release of Chapter 1 itself. Reportedly the shooting for chapter 2 got over in the first half of 2020, and the release date was announced in January 2021.

KGF Chapter 2 Release Date
In January 2021 the makers of KGF chapter 2 announced the release date to be 16 July 202, but it might postpone. And furthermore they will keep the promise of the theatrical release. Since the pandemic has hit the country in 2020, and theatres getting shut down several films opted for an OTT release. But a film like KGF Chapter 2; which is sure to be a blockbuster cannot bear to opt an OTT release. And opting for an OTT release will also hurt the sentiments of the fans; who are awaiting for the big release for 2 years now.
Plot of KGF Chapter 1
KGF Chapter 2 is the second instalment of the two part series. And the sequel to its first part KGF Chapter 1. The film revolves around the Gold Rush in India. And is a period drama set in the backdrop of the 1950s and 1970s. A young boy born to a poor woman goes on the path that leads to power and wealth; at a young age of 10 as it was his dying mother’s wish. And fast forwarding to 1970s, he becomes the right hand man of a powerful Gold smuggler, Shetty.
But as time is passing by, he, Rocky too has now created his own reputation and power. He starts going against the man for whom he once worked for. And with that the rivals start approaching him, offering him Mumbai in exchange of assassinating Garuda, the elder son of Suryavardhan. Suryavardhan was one of the owners of the Gold mine that everyone is after. Suryavardhan deceitfully sets up a company, and bought the Narachi, the land for a lease of 99 years under the pretext of limestone mining. He had five associates, who operated away from KGF. Kamal, who is the son of a former associate Bharghav; Andrews and Rajendra Desai – they oversee operations in the Konkan and Malabar Coast respectively, from Bangalore. Guru Pandian, a powerful politician and current president of the DYSS party, and his brother Adheera. Moreover, each of them had their eyes on the KGF.
The beginning of KGF Chapter 2:
But after the death of now paralysed Suryavardhan’s passing, Garuda, his eldest son is to inherit KGF. Rocky comes to Bangalore in order to assassinate Garuda, but instead gets involved in the lives of the slaves who work there; shedding blood, tears and sweat in order to mine gold for the powerful. By the end of the movie, Rocky ends up killing Garuda and Vanaram orders his men to attack Rocky and his army. Then a gunshot, and the movie fades to black, foreshadowing the beginning of part-2.
Amongst the rivals, one of them being Inayat Khalil from Dubai. Glimpses of Inayat Khalil from time to time in the first chapter is present, but the character will have more light in Chapter 2.
Two New Blockbuster on its way? KGF Chapter 2 and YASH 19?
With the recent tweet from Yash and as per reports, he is to star next in yet another action-thriller named YASH 19. And he might be playing a character from the navy. Although no further updates or any official announcement are circulating. But fans are looking forward to another exciting project starring Yash in the lead. Read the tweet here:

KGF Chapter 2 : New Cast and the beginning of THE END?
Chapter 2 will also star Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles alongside Yash and Srinidhi Shetty, Prashanth Neel, Vijay Kiragandur. KGF Chapter 2 is the most expensive Kannada movie with Rs 100 crore budget. Furthermore the movie will be dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. The movie is to hit theatres on 16 July 2021.
