Good news for Salman Khan fans
Salman Khan’s one of the biggest blockbusters “Dabangg” created a lot of buzz during its release. Chulbul pandey will appear after Dabangg 3. Isn’t it a Good news for Salman khan fans? After 2 successful hits in the ‘Dabangg’ series, the third couldn’t do as well as it was expected to. But no worries! As we will see him again, as our very own Chulbul Pandey in “Dabangg 4”. Though the title is yet to be confirmed, Salman had already said in 2019, during Dabangg 3’s release that even the script for it’s next is ready. Get ready for “Swagat Nahi Karoge Humara?”
Dabangg: A Debut Movie for many
The film also marked the debut of Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha. The movie “Dabangg” is a power pack of equal amount of humour, action, dialogues, romance and drama won hearts all over the country. The name Chulbul Pandey, aka Salman was in every person’s lips, in fact it still is. After the success of the original, the makers went off to make a second, as well as a third part. The movie also starred Arbaaz, Om Puri, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Anupam Kher, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mahie Gill in supporting roles. And Sonu Sood played the main antagonist in the film. This film also marked Abhinav Singh Kashyap’s debut as a writer and director.
Lesser Known Facts about Dabangg:
Although lesser known facts are, that Abhinav refused to direct the film due to unknown reasons. The movie then marked the directorial debut of Arbaaz Khan. The sequence is the result of the good response of “Dabangg”. And the sequel too, became a big hit in 2012, during its release. “Dabangg 2” earned ₹583 million just within three days of its release, making the movie one of the biggest earners of 2012. Whilst “Dabangg” earned a total of $47 million worldwide. The two parts released within 3 years, wheras the third part, “Dabangg 3” released in 2019.
Did you know? The story of “Dabangg 3” is written by Chulbul Pandey himself! Yes, we were a little surprised too when we found out about this lesser known fact. The third movie portrayed popular Kannada Actor Sudeep as the main antagonist. And the movie is directed by Prabhu Deva. Although the movie couldn’t do good due to the then on-going CAA protests.
Dabangg 4 to release soon?
But rumours say that “Dabangg 4” is in making. Can’t believe? Well, for starters you don’t really think that the story of Chulbul Pandey is over, right? And if you are a die hard fan of Chulbul Pandey, aka Sallu bhai, you are at the right place! As you are already aware of Salman’s next, “Radhe” is all set to release on theatres as well as OTT (on per-pay service) this Ramzan Eid, 13th May 2021. “Radhe” is going to be Salman’s one of the rare films, as it is shorter than his usual film lengths. The Central Board of Film Certification today passed the movie under U/A certificate. They also stated that “Radhe” is not a lengthy affair, it just 114 mins long, that is 1 hour 54 mins.
“Radhe” was linked as an unofficial sequel of Salman Khan’s “Wanted”(2009). This movie will also star Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in prominent roles. But with the situation worsening with the second wave of COVID, it doesn’t seem like the movie will do good in theatres. But let’s hope that the movie will receive a lot of love by the crowd, and preferably it will be in best interest for all to watch it on OTT.
Who’s the antagonist this time?
During the buzz of “Dabangg 3” releasing in 2019, Salman revealed that Chulbul Pandey isn’t going anywhere. He will be soon back with a fourth part. Yes! you read it right! Salman had announced in 2019 itself that story for the next part is all ready. Chulbul Pandey isn’t going away anytime soon. So fans out there, what are you waiting for? Gear up to welcome Chulbul Pandey one more time! Although nothing regarding the title, theme or backdrop has been revealed yet. But we can expect to see Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz for sure.
