Shall we begin from the very beginning? Priyanka Chopra was born in Jamshedpur. She did her schooling from Lucknow and Bareilly. Her parents being in the Army, they had to move around a lot. Did you know? That it was a coincidence for Priyanka to go for schooling in US? She was living with her cousin during her vacation. And apparently she did good, and was invited to study there. So Priyanka decided to stay back in the US for the time being.

We all know that Priyanka Chopra made her country proud when she was crowned as Miss World in 2000. Till date she gives the credit to her mother, who had sent random photos of her daughter in Miss Femina Pageant.
When they got a call from the Femina, Priyanka had no idea about the photos and got really excited. Furthermore, she had never thought to actually win it. In an interview, Priyanka Chopra revealed that she wasn’t confident regarding herself. She was also a victim of racism in US, where people used to call her brownie because of her skin tone. Priyanka never thought of herself as beautiful. She also said that she has the lowest self esteem. But we believe things have surely changed for her over the period of time. Things started changing when she won the title of Miss World in 2000, and when she started acting in Bollywood.

In 2015, Priyanka Chopra made her debut in the American Television series. She also revealed that she had to somewhat start from scratch in the new industry. She became the first South Asian Actress to lead an American series. Furthermore she went on to do several Hollywood movies like Isn’t It Romantic and Baywatch. Although she has had prominent roles in Hollywood instead of lead, and she’s still making her career in Hollywood, whereas she’s already an established actor in Bollywood.
