Rishi Kapoor movies that you shouldn’t miss out on

An Indian actor, film director, and film producer, none other than Legendary Rishi Kapoor. A part of all of us broke down after hearing the sad news of him leaving us forever.
Rishi Kapoor ( 4 September 1952 – 30 April 2020 ), winner of Filmfare, zee cine, and national awards. A legend for a reason. It is difficult to process his demise even today. The cinematic experience we got because of him is so thrilling. There is nothing he couldn’t do. He is considered to be one of the most successful actors in the history of Bollywood. In contrast, his son is the rising star now! Ranbir Kapoor will soon be bringing back his magic on screens.

It will be a whole year since this legend left us overwhelmed. None of his movies are bad but there are some that will will recommend highly!

1. Mera Naam Joker (1970)

Young rishi kapoor made his debut with this gem of a movie. It is one of the most lengthiest movies in Hindi Cinema ( 239 minutes ). Mini kapoor will make you smile throughout. It is a beautiful movie.

2. Prem Rog (1982)

Winner of many Filmfare awards, this movie features Rishi and Padmini Kolhapure. It is a romantic drama. But, coming from the retro times, there is alot you will get to witness.

3. Anmol (1993)

This movie is again a romantic drama. Rishi is a part of many movies that have a tragic story but his acting balances out everything!

4. Fanaa (2006)

One of the most commendable movies of all time. Rishi Kapoor is in supporting role, but it plays a major part in the film. He is playing Kajol’s father. However, the tragic climax will leave you numb! Watch it on Amazon Prime Video.

5. Do Dooni Char (2010)

This movie is so simple and yet so funny. Starring the power couple, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, the movie revolves around a middle-class family. Furthermore, this movie is a must-watch!

6.Kapoor and Sons (2016)

Playing a role of a 90 year old man, Rishi is the heart of this film. The tragic turns in the family, and only his character helps us keep smiling!

7. 102 Not out (2018)

Opposite Amitabh Bachchan, the two are playing a father-son duo. Rishi is Amitabh’s son. The two don’t mingle well till the end. However, something tragic brings the lost love back.

8. Mulk (2018)

Rishi Kapoor opposite Taapsee Pannu. The names are enough to give us gooseflesh. This thriller movie is a must watch.
